Examining the Effect of Intellectual Capital on Organizational Performance (Case Study: Iran Central Iron Ore Company)

Abstract:
Development and improvement of Performance is considered as a major challenge in many organizations. In this context, capital limited sources allocation have the best impact on the performance of many organizations. Therefore, organizations can use intangible assets (Intellectual Capital) for acquiring competitive advantage. So, the purpose of this research is examining the Effect of intellectual capital and its elements on organizational performance in Iran Central Iron Ore Company. According to the research literature and expert opinions the dimensions and indexes of Intellectual Capital and organizational Performance are identified, and then the relationship among these factors are evaluated. This study is a descriptive and applied survey. The statistical population of this study is managers and personnel of Iran Central Iron Ore Company. In this study, structural Equation Modeling is used for data analysis. The results of this paper show that there is a significant relationship between Intellectual Capital and organizational Performance.
