Developing a Sustainable Supply Chain Management Model in Marine Industries Case study: Marine Industries Organization

Marine industries are among the industries that have been strongly emphasized on environmental issues. The industry in our country has been dating for decades, and the machines and methods used are largely long-lived. Therefore, research on a sustainable model in this industry is essential. The statistical population of this applied research includes 724 logistics and commodity experts in Marine Industries Organization. The simple random sampling method was used and the minimum sample size was 252 with Cochran formula. The instrument for collecting data was a questionnaire that its content validity was confirmed by the experts and academic professors. The construct validity was verified through confirmatory factor analysis. Data analysis and hypothesis testing were performed using SPSS software and structural equation method. The results of the research showed that customer pressure and innovation have a positive and significant effect on the sustainability of supply chain management. Also, a significant contribution to innovation education plays a special role in the share of education in innovation and supply chain management.
