The effect of Green Information Technology on the corporate sustainable economics: (Review of Iranian Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs))

Nowadays, human faces with difficulties of unsustainable ways of life, since efforts to achieve economic growth and increase incomes through destroying natural resources and ecosystems have caused many people to forget environmental trends and therefore often resist any kind of change necessary for a sustainable and humanitarian economy. Globalization, gradually, has resulted in development of industry and clean and green technologies, and this makes compliance with the principles of green economy necessary. Therefore, manufacturers, importers and exporters are increasingly forced to upgrade their metrics and indicators, especially from the environmental point of view, to meet the demands of rigorous customers. In this research, the indicators of green information technology and economic sustainability were identified through targeted interviews and library studies. Then electronic questionnaire was distributed among managers, consultants and IT experts. Totally, 108 questionnaires were collected during one month and data of 99 samples were reviewed. Data analysis conducted in the form of structural equation modeling and least minor squares method. This paper was an applied study in terms of purpose and survey- descriptive in terms of research methods.
