Abstract:
Background
Spirituality and its effect on peoples health are attended more than before. The current study was conducted to determine the relationship between spiritual well-being, hopelessness, and self-efficacy component in the students of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences.Objectives
The current study aimed at Investigate the relationship between spiritual health and hopelessness to Self-efficacy in students of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences.Methods
The current descriptive-correlational study was conducted in 2014 on 175 students selected from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences. The data were collected via demographic characteristics, spirituality well-being, hopelessness, and self-efficacy questionnaires; the significant level was considered Results
A total of 175 students including 75 males and 100 females participated in the study. There was a significant and revers relationship between spiritual well-being and hopelessness among the subjects (R = - 0.632; P Conclusions
In the current study, spiritual well-being had a direct relationship with self-efficacy and revers relationship with hopelessness. It is offered to make arrangement in order to promote self-efficacy and reduce hopelessness in students.Keywords:
