Scientific Activities profile of Researchers in Islamic Azad University- Tehran Science and Research Branch in ResearchGate by Altemetrics approach

The purpose of the research is to study the presence of Islamic Azad University- Tehran Science and Research Branch(IAUTSRB) University Scholars in ResearchGate.
This research is an applied one which is done with Altmetrics approach. The statistical population of this research to 9 October 2017, 2158 researchers were in IAUTSRB To analyze the data, descriptive and inferential statistics were used.
Findings: The results showed that the male researcher presence of IAUTSRB is more than women in ResearchGate scientific social network from the point of view of quantity and RG scores. The researcher’s presence and RG score and Research items were different in scientific areas. The researcher's participation in the question and the answer was low.
Scientific social networks have an important role in activities and scientific communication of researchers; It deserves that provide such an environment in which researchers; scientists and student could present him/her selves.
