Adaptive weight control based PSO multi objective operation management of renewable micro grid
As today’s world day to day demand of electricity increases results huge demand should be met by the generation at the same time this generation challenges higher service reliability, socioeconomic growth, environmental conditions and better power quality. This imposes the increment of distributed generations to meet most of local demand in certain areas. In this regard, micro grid is the best way to interconnect the DGs to meet the local demand as well as desired objectives such cost and emission. In this paper, adaptive weight control PSO is used for economic dispatch. PSO is a search technique in that for a best optimal position can be achieved by better controlling of inertia weight of the particle which is implemented for the optimal operation of micro grid with renewable energy sources. Here multi objective nonlinear constraint problem is formulated and typical micro grid concise of micro turbine, fuel cell, renewable systems(PV,wind), and battery chosen to meet variable demand of 24 hours, AWCPSO is applied to minimize the cost and emission simultaneously. For the better realization of the problem different cases are imposed such as all the real constraints are within the limits, maximum renewable penetration, and extended exchange limit with macro grid which implies extreme detection of all the conditions of micro grid.
