Abstract:
In continuous wave (CW) radar systems, the efficiency of semi-active chaser receiver in the pursuit of target great importance is paramount. In a situation where the target and chaser has variable speed (accelerated motion) relative to each other, in the semi-active chaser receiver, the received signal has Doppler characteristics and variable with time. In this paper, semi-active receiver with hierarchical features, first acquires parameters estimation of the received signal using the short time-frequency transform (STFT) at time of acceleration target or chaser. Then, monopulse angular tracking accuracy is achieved using match filter of signal parameters. Eventually, provide the required simulation, the proposed method is compared by maximum signal spectrum and average signal spectrum methods. The results imply that matched filter-based algorithm has better performance than other algorithm offers.
