Islamic Republic of Iran geopolitical situation, the levels and the type of conflict with the other players in designing the defensive strategies are of great importance.
Its location in the crossing connecting road of Asia, Europe and Africa as well as its great energy resources in addition to its domination over its main ways, young population of fairly high size, religious, tribal and racial bonds with the neighbors and also its rich and ancient culture and the other numerous advantages have, above all, brought about a very powerful and extensive capacity in the field of military defense for the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Thus, the purpose of this survey is to codify the geopolitical strategies in gaining regional supreme power for theIslamic Republic of Iran in the future outlook horizon for the year 1404, which has been conducted in the viewpoint of type, function and development based on Descriptive-Analytical method. The findings of the study are as follows:Islamic Republic of Iran, by codifying the intellectual strategies based and focused on its weakness and strength points in the domestic environment in addition to the threats and opportunities in its own localitycaninevitably achieve the goal of becoming the Defensive Mighty and Supreme Power in the Region.
