A comparative study of 'Kawsar'

The word 'Kawsar' is a part of a Quranic verse has been applied in surah Kawsar. There have been different viewpoints in the two orders in terms of understanding this word. A descriptive-analytic method has been applied in this research in order to discuss 'Kawsar' in the two orders'
viewpoint. Findings of the present research indicated although there have been mentioned many instances for 'Kawsar' in the commentary and narrative sources, there are equivocation in stances such as stream in paradise, a pond in paradise, abundant goodness, collecting the
quotations, Fatemeh Zahra(AS), and all external and internal blessings, and also, there are separation in stances such as the Book, Relatives of Prophet, divine Revelation, and prophethood. By a comparative study of scholars' viewpoint of the two orders, results of the present research
showed that the main instance of 'Kawsar' is Fatemeh Zahra (AS) who has so far been an abundant goodness source during the history.
