Abstract:
Entrepreneurship is an important factor in changing villages attracting institutions and individuals that are involved in rural development planning. In parallel, the rural tourism is considered to be a source of entrepreneurship and change. The present paper sought to investigate how an opportunistic idea could create a suitable route for stimulating the rural economic development and creating a movement in the surrounding spatial flow. The paper aimed to examine regional economy sectors that were developed by the tourism. Abbas Barzegar's tourism village, located in Bazm Village of Bavanat County and its effects on the village and rural area of Bavanat are investigated by the field study through the observation, questionnaires and interviews. Activities of this complex and other similar practices can create a variety of economic movements in favor of rural development in this space. Economic and social changes after the activation of this complex were compared to the previous state. The collected data indicated that tourism activities of this complex were able to be linked to other economic sectors to develop the rural area of Bazm village. The most important observed consequences included foreign tourists' visits, the boom in domestic tourists' visits, selling handicrafts and local cuisine, and the value added production. The major effects included higher trans-regional communication and created financial and commodity exchanges in the area and beyond it. Therefore, the focus on the development of rural tourism can activate positive flows of rural spatial economics by applying existing factors in the village such as natural landscapes, traditions and customs of peasant and nomadic cultural elements, which have not been counted as sources, as well as the rural labor force.
