Message:
Abstract:
Introduction & Purpose
The purpose of this study was to predict body image and self-examination levels based on early maladaptive schemas of married students of Kermanshah Uni-versity of Azad University that was in the academic year 1995-96.
Methodology
The statistical society consists of married students of Kermanshah Azad Universi-ty, which is in the academic year 1995-96. The sample size was 200 students. The questionnaire of the multidimensional self-relationship ques-tionnaire (Kash, 1990), Yang's maladaptive schemas questionnaire, and self-assessment scale scale questionnaire (Thompson and Zurrof 2004) were used for data collection.
Results
Growth patterns were measured using the Ulrich test and physical fitness components related to children's health using 540 m long tests, modified flexural tensile test and modified length test. The Ulrich Durable Motor Growth Test (2000) is a revised instrument by Dr. Beverly D Orlech (1985) as a tool for evaluating selected motor skills in children aged 3 to 10 years and older. Object-control skills and selected displacements make up a 12-item test. Moving skills include running, quadrangling, licking, jumping, jumping, sliding, manipulation skills including knocking down, throwing at the upper hand side of the shoulder, rolling the object from the bot-tom of the shoulder.
Conclusion
The presence of maladaptive cognitive schemas may differentiate between those who are self-satisfied with the body image and those who have little or no body image. Having pessimistic views about the image of our bodies and ourselves, causes negative emotions and reduces the person's coping power with negative thoughts.
