Reviewing the Level of Welcoming Police Documentaries by Individuals 159 and its Impact on Feeling Responsible toward Establishment of Security (Case Study: Zones 1 and 14 of Tehran)

The present research is aimed at reviewing the impact of documentaries produced by police played on Television on persuading public to contribute to establishment of security. Feeling responsible in establishing security has three dimensions: cognitive, emotional and pragmatic. The present research is of survey type, and the under study population is all the residents of zones of Tehran, of which individuals have been randomly selected. The results of the research indicated that there is a correlation of between the extent of welcoming police documentaries and feeling responsible to contribute to establishment of security. In other words, those who watch police documentaries feel more responsible to contribute to establishing security. There is also significant correlation between the extent individuals welcome ocumentaries and any of the dimensions of feeling responsible to contribute to security establishment; and from among the three aforesaid dimensions, the pragmatic dimension compared with the other two is influenced more by police documentaries. In the end, it can be concluded that police documentaries played on television affect the level of feeling responsible to contribute to establish security
