The Evaluation of familiarity rate of physical education teachers with the sports law in Isfahan province

The overall objective of this study was to evaluate familiarity rate of physical education teachers with the sports law in Isfahan province. The research method from terms of purpose was functional and based on data collection was descriptive-survey. The statistical population included all physical education teachers in Isfahan province which according to the department of education were announced 1740 people. The random classification sampling method was used. The sample size determines 407 subjects with Cochran's formula and was used the random classification sampling method. The researcher made questionnaire was used to collect data. Face and content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by expert professor. The reliability coefficient for this questionnaire was 0.84. Data analyze was used with one sample T-test and Freedman test. The results indicated that physical education teachers' knowledge of the elements of sports law, including the obligation and duty, sports equipment standards, goals and mission of education in schools was above average (μ>3), Components of the rights and privileges of education and organizational responsibilities and administration was the moderate (μ =3), the rate and familiarity with the rules and regulations was the lower of the average (μ ≥3). Determination of physical education teachers' familiarity with sports law can be helpful for teachers to identify the factors affecting it and solve them to improve their legal status.
