US sanctions against member states and non-members of the World Trade Organization (With emphasis on Iran)
The main purpose of the article is explaining the nature of unilateral and multilateral sanctions by the United States and the Security Council or other countries, and even members of the World Trade Organization against Iran from the view of international law. The main question of the research is that what is the nature of US sanctions against member states and non-members of the World Trade Organization with an emphasis on Iran’s sanctions? Research hypothesis emphasizes that US sanctions against Iran or other countries and members of the World Trade Organization, impose its policies and plans to change the political behavior of countries. Research findings indicate that the United States is in decline in the present era. The last tool of the country to impose its power on other countries, using the economic sanctions tool but multilateralism in the world shows that sanctions have also lost their effectiveness. Iran celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory while from the beginning of the victory of the revolution Iran was sanctioned by the United States. But it has now become one of the key powers of West Asia. Iran has shown that sanctions have no effect on it in practice. The research method is descriptive and analytical and the data collection tool is a library method based on the documents.
