Analysis of the relationship between Social Capital, Organizational Innovation and Organizational Productivity

Social capital is one of the important organizational capabilities and assets that can create a stable organizational advantage compared to other organizations. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of social capital on organization productivity with the mediation of organizational innovation. The present research is an applied-case study in terms of purpose and a correlation-descriptive in terms of data collection and analysis. The population of this study includes 130 employees of Datis Sanat Paya Company. Sample size was also selected as 92 people based on Morgan Table. Research instrument was a standard questionnaire which was ranked by 5-scale Likert scale. Content validity was used to validate the research instrument and Cronbach alpha was used to identify the reliability. SPSS 22 and Smart PLS 2 were used to analyze research data. The achieved results show that social capital has a positive effect on organizational innovation and productivity and organizational innovation has a positive effect on organizational productivity. Also, mediating role of organizational innovation in influencing social capital on organizational productivity was proved.
