The population of this study was all athletes with disabilities participated in the national championship competitions in different sports. 188 male athletes (age 30.23±12.21 year) and 109 female athletes (age 30.27±3.22 year) participated in this study. Mean, standard deviation and normal range of values were calculated. Analysis was performed using SPSS version 18.
Results
Normative data in selected parameters are: arm girth relaxed 33.04(±4.89) for male and 28.51(±4.88) for female, arm girth flexed and tensed M:35.7(±4.94) and F:30.32(±5.09), biacormial breath M:42.11(±3.9) and F:27.91(±2.44), humerus breadth M:7.19(±0.59) and F:6.31(±0.54), humerus length (acromiale-radiale) M:31.9(±2.35) and F:29.31(±1.63), forearm length (radiale-stylion) M:25.74(±1.64) and F:24.05(±1.86), hand length (mid-sylion-dactylion) M:18.67(±1.64) and F:17.91(±1.14), arm span M:178.59(±8.09) and F:155.11(±10.53), sitting height M:91.57(±5) and F:80.04(±6.19), stretch stature M:171.25(±10.15) and F:155.67(±12.18) and brachial index M:81.2%(±4.31) and F:82.45%(±6.82).
