Iran's Commercial vehicle Industry from players point of view: suggestions for development

The main Purpose of this study is to investigate the commercial vehicle industry and providing coping solutions. In this regard, by using a questionnaire including 42 questions in three categories which are supply side difficulties (domestic and export), demand side, and problems regarding joint venture investments, we have collected 11 person's opinions working in industry stakeholder such as commercial automotive companies, the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, Management and Planning Organization and the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization. By using factor analysis and SPSS software, we review the results and enumerate problems. The most important problems, from stakeholders point of view, are defects associated with financing (average rate of 12141), inappropriate business environment (average rate of 12142), complexity of export process (average rate of 12111), infrastructure weaknesses such as regulation, bank, transport, customs and etc (average rate of 12111) and finally inappropriate environment for joint venture investment (Average rate of 12144). Finally, according to Turkey experience as a successful country in commercial vehicle sector and Iran's regional competitor and based on important problems, we will provide solutions in public sector (economy as a whole) and private sector.
