National Impetus and Foreign Policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran
National impetus is one of the most important components of national resources of the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran which indicates the special role of the nation in the success of the foreign policy in the discourse of the Islamic Revolution. The present issue is important because its role should be considered not only for increasing the power of the Islamic Republic in various aspects of foreign policy, but also it needs to be identified and conceptualized in literature for the effectiveness of national attempts in increasing this undeniable power. In so doing, the main question of the present study is how national impetus shapes in foreign policy. In response to the above question descriptive and analytical instruments are used and this hypothesis is proposed that foreign policy needs mainly a domestic development which itself require national impetus and thereby national impetus of a society is the result of the recognition of the environmental opportunities and threats as well as good knowledge of foreign policy and instruments. The findings of the present study suggest that increasing the general awareness of the foreign policy of the public plays an most important role in achieving national impetus in foreign policy; therefore, authorities are able to promote proper planning and benefit from the quality index and introduce and theorize this component as an important source of the indigenous and foreign policy of the Islamic-Iranian model of progress.
