Review of preventive measures to combat smuggling of tobacco goods entering input to kerman province
Smuggling is a deadly disease for the economy of any country and it makes the economic and commercial policies of the governments ineffective or less effective.A group of materials that are smuggled to the country are narcotic materials, especially cigarettewhich have targeted the younger generation who arethe potential forces for the future of country and it aims at making them addicted to other drugs too. Therefore, it is necessary that the responsible institutions have more control and at least in order to maintain health of the citizens seriouslyfight with smuggling. Thus, this study aimed to examine the preventive measures to combat the smuggling of narcotics materialswhich were enteredto Kerman province in 2016. The research method was descriptive-analytic and the statistical population included 110 experts who have been active in fighting against smuggling narcotics materialsand they had bachelor degree and3 years experiencein combating with smuggling. So, a sample size of 110 people was chosen through a survey. To collect the data,a 26-item questionnaire with 0.89 validity and 0.887 reliability was used. Data analysis was done by SPSS20, descriptive and inferential statistics such as mean, standard deviation, one-sample T-test, Friedman and ANOVA. The results showed that preventive measures (social, situational and criminal) were effective in fighting against smuggling narcotic materials entering to Kerman province.Priority of preventive measures in fightingwith smuggling narcotic materialsentering to Kerman province are respectively social, criminal and situational preventive measures while this priority is not statistically significant.
