Comparative study of the causes and consequences of Iran's Islamic Revolution and Egyptian Revolution 2011
Central argument of this paper is a comparative study of the causes and consequences of the Islamic Revolution and the Egyptian revolution in 2011. The theoretical assumption of this article is that the Islamic Revolution has been fertile ground for the growth of the revolutionary process in Egypt. But the leadership element is one of the most important factor in the victory of Iranian revolution and its defeat in Egypt. The theoretical framework of this paper is the theory of John Forn that explained and completed with the help of Jack Gladstone and Michel Foucault's theory. The method of this paper is Comparative and Documentary study that after describing and explaining the causes of the revolution in Iran and Egypt and matching them with each other, the following results were obtained. Many experts believe that the leadership at all levels has a major role in the success and fruition of Iran's Islamic Revolution, while the Egyptian revolution has not certain guardianship and the religious leaders arrived on the scene after the movement. Differences and religious tendencies in Iran and Egypt were revealed, According to the social fabric. And this difference can be considered as factors that determine the outcome of the revolution.
