The Role of Supervisory Strategies in Iranian Penal Policy

Abstract:

Today forecasting supervisory strategies, is one of the fundamental concerns of the international community. The importance of this issue is to the extent that the strategy is reflected in various domestic and international documents. Whereas the purpose of ensuring compliance with laws and regulations is to adopt a coherent and efficient criminal policy in this regard, in this article with focuses on Iranian law, attempted to criticize both substantive and formal laws, one of the most important parts of criminal policy, means Iran's penal policy should be criticized for its use of a surveillance strategy and understanding the gaps and shortcomings of current policies, provide an efficient and effective penal policy. In this research that is done in a library-based descriptive-analytical study, it turned out that Iran's penal policy in terms of application of monitoring strategy facing with things like scattering the rules, vacuum efficient warranties, lack of specialized authority and also a weakness of civil society institutions and therefore, it is necessary to revise and amend the laws in this field.
