Study The Mediating Role of Loneliness in Heart Attachment to God and Attachment to Mother with Quality of Life in Fourth-Year High School Students in Shiraz
The purpose of the present study was to investigate the mediating role of loneliness, with dependence on God, mother's attachment and quality of life in female high school students in Shiraz in 1977. This is a correlational based study. The target population consisted of all male and female students (658 students) and sample size of 200 students who were selected by random cluster sampling. Data were collected through the God Attachment Questionnaire, WHO Quality of Life Questionnaire, Loneliness Questionnaire, and Mother Attachment Questionnaire and Data were analyzed using correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis. The results of multiple regression analysis showed that dependence on God (p <0.01) and trust (p <0.01) and maternal dependency (pt <0.01) can significantly predicts the feeling of loneliness. Feeling of loneliness (p <0.01) can significantly predict quality of life. Confidence (p <0.01) aspects and maternal attachment (p <0.01) dimensions can significantly predict quality of life. Feeling of loneliness (p <0.01) can significantly predict quality of life. There was a significant relationship between attachment styles to God (avoidance and anxiety), attachment styles to mother (trust, communication and alienation) and quality of life subscales (physical, psychological, social, and environmental) with students' sense of loneliness.
