Psychological Capital, Based on Competitive Advantage of Physical and Non-Physical Education
The purpose of this study was to evaluate and compare the psychological capital of physical education and non-physical education teachers in Delphi. The research method is causal comparative.
The subjects included all physical education teachers (n = 88) and non-physical education (n = 360) dolphins. All teachers of physical education were considered as sample size by the whole number method. In the case of non-physical educators, 175 individuals were selected by simple random sampling method using the sample size table of Cohen, Georgia, and Morgan. The psychological capital questionnaire of Lutz (2007) was used to measure psychological capital. The validity of the questionnaire was formally approved by the supervisor. Reliability of the questionnaires was calculated 0.83 using Cronbach's alpha test. To analyze the data, due to abnormal distribution, U Mann Whitney and Friedman tests were used.
The findings showed that there was a significant difference between the psychological capital of physical education and non-physical education teachers (including self-efficacy, hope, resilience and optimism) (P≥0.05). There was also a difference between the two groups regarding the prioritization of psychological capital factors.
It can be concluded that the topics discussed in explaining the results of this study are likely to have generality and applicability for teachers of physical education as an athlete community.
