Feasibility Study of Sustainable Urban Tourism Development in Gorgan city

Through the two-way link between sustainable development and sustainable tourism, so that tourism can contribute to the sustainable development of the city, Its impacts on the city must be identified and addressed, and if managed, coherent and efficient planning, and with the participation of local residents, its potentials can be exploited to further benefit sustainable urban development. In this regard, the present study aimed to investigate sustainable urban tourism development in the city of Gorgan using the SOAR strategic model. The type of research in this research is descriptive-analytical and field and library studies were used for data collection. The findings suggest that national and international attractions, landscapes of natural landscapes with appropriate and favorable climate, diverse and attractive historical-cultural monuments and heritage, along with other advantages and strengths Other Places In This City In Addition To Tourism Development Can Provide Sustainable Income For The City. Finally, factors such as: planning to increase the number of service centers, strengthening tourism infrastructure, infrastructure and tourism services, marketing and enhancing the culture of tourism acceptance are the expected results.
