A study of the secularist thoughts of freedom movements facing with Islamic Revolution's discourse with respect to Bazargan's Perspective In this regard, the components of secularism in Bazargan's thinking, including nationalism, opposition to the principle of Velayat-e Faqih, interpretation of religion based on liberalism, opposition to the establishment of religious government, opposition to the implementation of religious laws were examined. Moreover, facing Islam with thought of freedom movement was among debated issues. Results indicate that according to discourse analysis, nationalisms attached to the minimum role of religion are the basis of central freedom movement and this will lead to the political secularism. The nature of freedom movement is in contrast with Islamic revolution discourse. So that these two point of view would be classified as in total contradiction.
