The Role of Socioeconomic Factors in the Incidence of Accidents Caused by Cargo Fleet Drivers' Fatigue and Drowsiness in Suburban roads of Khuzestan Province,iran

The purpose of this study is to explain the role of social and economic factors in the incidence of accidents caused by the cargo fleet drivers' fatigue and drowsiness in Suburban roads of Khuzestan Province. To explain the subject, certain theories were used in this study including symbolic violence, differential opportunity, social learning, social action, and anomy. This study  is a survey and in kind of quotas  non-probability sampling method  in which the research sample includes all  suburban  roads accident experts in Khuzestan province. The results of this study were analyzed using SPSS software and application of tests such as simple and multivariate analysis of variance analysis and single-variable regression analysis (due to the parametric and relationality of the first four hypotheses), it is indicated that, at the level of independent variables, variables such as: income level, education level and drivers' addiction rate to drugs, alongside the employment variable away from their homes, will be a significant statistical effect in explaining variance of dependent variable, occurrence of accidents caused by fatigue and Sleepiness on the suburban roads of the province. Also, No significant difference was observed .in the parametric hypothesis and the difference as "drivers and police interaction with the rate of incidence of accidents caused by fatigue and sleepiness in terms of age, education and work experience" (except for education variables using multiple variance analysis method).
