The study of effect of environmental physical activity on traffic accidents Nowadays, the custodians in traffic area have found that environmental physical factor is of the most effective elements involved in accidents caused by traffic crashes. This paper presents results of studies conducted in order to reveal the potential influence of EPA (solar, geomagnetic and cosmic ray activities, and atmospheric changes) on the number of traffic accidents and related injuries, causalities and damages in Tehran metropolis (region 10 of municipality) during 2008-2012. The results showed that number of accidents caused by traffic crashes is reversely related to solar activities and directly to geomagnetic and cosmic ray activities, because these factors affect the human behavior and function significantly. The results also indicated that number of traffic accidents in cold months is more than other months due to some atmospheric situations like rain, strong winds, snow and sometimes frozen roads and also changes of solar, geomagnetic and cosmic ray activities. Analyze of probable correlation between traffic accidents and geomagnetic, electric and radio waves in roads of region 10 of Tehran’s municipality shows a high correlation coefficient between these waves and number of traffic accidents
