The Comparison of the Discourse of Tuba and the Night Meaning and Alsabbar Novels on Women

Abstract:
The purpose of the current research was to compare the discourse of Tuba and the Night Meaning by Sharnoush Parsipour and Alsabbar by Sahar Khalifeh novels on women.  Parsipour is one of the Iranian novelist that expressd in different ways the ignored women's rights in his works. Also Sahar Khalifeh is the Palestinian contemporary novelist that raised the problems of women in Arabic societies in his works. This study implied analytic-descriptive method. The results showed that the both authors believed women were respected but men look at them in proprietory and asset attitude. Both novels recalled the women to learn and think, because of low knowledge and ignorance were two main factors of degrading the women in the male-dominated societies. Parsipour believed that love is belong to women; while Khalifa more refered to the homeland inspiring love and fighting against the invaders in her work.
