The Relationship between Academic Motivations, Achievement Motive and Educational Environment for Female Students of SAMAa
The purpose of this research was to study the relationship between academic motivations, achievement motivation and educational environment for female students of SAMA. The sample included 135 individuals that were selected based on stratified random sampling from female students of SAMA Ahvaz University. Academic Motivations Scale (AMS), Geisly Achievement Motivation Scale (GAMS) and University Connection Environment Questionnaire (UCEQ) were used for data collection. The research was a correlation type. The data was analyzed by using Pearson correlation coefficient and multivariate regression at the 0.0001significance level. The results showed that there was a positive significant relationship between academic motivations and educational environment. There also was a positive significant relationship between achievement motivation and educational environment. The results indicated as well that there were significant multiple relations between academic motivations, achievement motivation and educational environment. Regression analysis revealed that achievement motivation well predicted the students' coherence with educational environment.
