Sociological Design of Social Trust in Police in borderland areas (Case Study: (Pars Abad Town)
The main purpose of the current study is to socially design the social trust in Police in borderland areas. This study used survey method and structured questionnaires with closed answer after determining the executed reliability and validity. Under study statistical society includes Pars Abad town using Cochran Formula from 88924 persons, the sample size is 367 persons.
Results from SPSS 2 test shows that there is a meaningful relation between fear of crime (-0/167), social security (0/401), social status of Police (0/337), police power (0/289), Police legalism (0/614), police humanism (0/305), police cultural capital (0/652) and respecting citizenship rights (0/406) but there is no meaningful relation between presence in society and social participation with social trust in police. Results of regression shows that multiple correlation coefficient between variables equals 0/761 and the determination coefficient is 0/564. In this way, total independent variables could justify 0/56 social trust variable.
