Nanoporous SBA-15 Adsorbent Functionalized with Di Amine Fluorine for Preconcentration of Silver
In this research, nanoporous SBA-15 functionalized with di amine fluorine was used for extraction of silver ions in aqua solution. Based on N2 adsorption-desorption, functionalized SBA-15 showed the BET surface area 152 m2g-1 and pore diameter 4.2 nm. Flame atomic absorption spectrometry was used to determine the silver ions concentration. The results were shown that maximum extraction of silver ions was done at pH 4-6 using 10 mg of nanoporous adsorbent after 10 minutes. The recovery of functionalized SBA-15 was done with 25 ml solution of sodium thiosulfate 1 mol L-1. In optimum condition, preconcentration factor and detection limit of the method were 60 and 2.4 µg/L, respectively. Also, the data was found to fit well into the Langmuir model and the maximum adsorbent´s capacity was determined 263.16 ±1.2 μg silver per each milligram of functionalized SBA-15 adsorbent.
