The research method is descriptive and content analysis. The statistical population includes all primary and secondary school textbooks ,and the research sample includes six books of "Heavenly Gifts", "Social Studies", "Persian Literature", "Thinking and Research", "Heavenly Messages" and "Thinking and Life Style" in 27 volumes selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was a researcher-developed list for content analysis. Face validity was used to establish validity, and William Scott's method was used to establish reliability. The research findings showed that in the textbooks of the first, second and third grades of primary school and the eighth grade of the first secondary school, the components of enjoining the good and forbidding the evil have not been mentioned whatsoever. In general, the findings of the study indicate that in the reviewed books, sufficient and balanced attention has not been given to the components of the duty of enjoining the good and forbidding the evil.
