Factors Affecting the Origin and Tendency to Fundamentalism
In recent decades, for important reasons such as the end of the Cold War, the rapid expansion of globalization, the expansion of communication, we have seen researchers pay too much attention to the issue of fundamentalism. Of course, fundamentalism comes in many forms, but what is more important than any other issue is religious fundamentalism, which received a lot of attention with the rise of ISIS . However, fundamentalism has existed in Christianity as well as in Judaism. The common denominator of religious fundamentalism is the attempt to revive religious values. Some argue that religious fundamentalism, as a general, conservative, and rebellious tendency, is based on the normative rotations of modernity. Therefore, this article seeks to answer the question analytically and descriptively , what are the factors influencing the emergence and tendency to fundamentalism? Findings Research shows that on the one hand the environmental failures of society and on the other hand the fear of the consequences of modernity and globalization have led to the spread of social, political, cultural and economic spheres and the fundamentalists are trying to return to tradition to solve these shortcomings.
