Anomie Feeling, Abnormal Behaviors, and Preventive Implications (Case Study: Young Boys in Tehran)
The present research aims at reviewing the effect of anomie feeling on tendency of young boys toward abnormal behaviors. The research is of survey type, and is categorized as applied type. N= 385 selected randomly from among young boys in Tehran. Anomie feeling has been evaluated from three dimensions: social, economic and political; meanwhile, their impact on displaying abnormal behavior was assessed. The results of the present research indicated that the correlation between anomie feeling and tendency toward abnormal behaviors has been 0.502, and has been significant in the error level of 0.01. From among anomie feeling aspects, political aspect has had the highest level of impact, and economic aspect has ranked the second. The present research comes to the conclusion that anomie feeling, especially political anomie feeling has had serious impact on youngsters'' abnormal behaviors and any policy-making in this regard should be based on political, economic and social empowerment of youngsters. It also came out that making youngsters contribute to micro and macro processes, particularly in politics and economy may have desirable impacts on it.
