Designing and Explaining the Strategic Model of Women's Career Development in Public Organizations with an Emphasis on Islamic-Iranian Lifestyle
This research is aimed at designing and explaining the strategic model for women's career development in public organizations with an emphasis on the Islamic-Iranian lifestyle. This mixed research follows qualitative and quantitative approach using content analysis and survey method. Questionnaires and semi-structured interviews are employed for data collection. The statistical sample includes 83 experienced managers of the administrative system and professors in the content analysis method. Using target-based sampling and survey method, 305 women working in the administrative institutes of the Reform Matrix of Hamadan Province are selected at this stage through simple random sampling method. Structural equations model and PLS software are used to test the hypotheses. The results indicate that there is a significant relationship between women's readiness for promotion as senior managers, receiving support from law, receiving organizational support, Iranian Islamic lifestyle, and women's career development in public organizations. Furthermore, there is a significant relationship between cultural-social contexts, individual-family contexts, organizational contexts, and women's readiness to rise to a senior managerial job. Finally, the strategic model of women's career development with emphasis on the Islamic-Iranian lifestyle is presented consistent with the results of testing the hypotheses.
