Feasibility of Establishment Dry Port in Bushehr Port by SWOT Matrix

But physical development of port not possible everywhere. Therefore modern port use of dry port to solve this problem. Dry ports is a location for containers depot and distribute them to final destination. Bushehr port is one of important port in south that located in city and confront physical development problem. It is necessary to stablish dry port for responding its forecasted operation volume in Port and Maritime Organization studying plan. This research use previous researches and questionnaire, identify Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threats of Bushehr port, and then used SWOT matrix to evaluate and design different strategies. Results of research show current position of Bushehr port is W-O. Keywords: Dry Port, Bushehr port, SWOT matrix
