Studying the impact of social responsibility of organizational commitment
Social responsibility is recognized as one of the most important elements of organizational existence philosophy so that respecting it by organizations not only may lead into organizational commitment promotion but also it fosters the satisfaction of external stakeholders to justify the organization. Present paper studies the impact of social responsibility on organizational commitment. To this end, Qom Governor General Office is selected as research population by the contribution of 80 members as research sample and a questionnaire for data collection. Data processing is conducted by regression model which indicates that economic needs, respecting general laws and regulations, business ethics and humanity responsibilities have positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. It means that emphasis on the importance of social responsibility and respecting it by organizations can have a positive impact on organizational performance so that it can impact on employees’ organizational commitment significantly.
