Participatory leadership Style and its Impact on Organizational Effectiveness at Media Organization with the Emphasis on IRIB Organization
This research has been carried out to investigate the impact of participatory leadership style and its impact on organizational effectiveness in broadcast ing organization through a field survey using a correlation analysis and its explanation for employees of broadcasting organization available in Tehran. The research sample included 400 employees working in different departments of IRIB in Tehran. The sample was selected using stratified random and systematic sampling. The questionnaires were standard for participatory leadership style and organizational effectiveness. The factors which were studied in participatory leadership style included participation, equity, accountability and ownership. The constituents of organizational effectiveness included innovation, organizational commitment , job satisfaction and health. The findings showed that there was a significant relationship between constituents of participatory leadership style and organizational effectiveness in the national media at the the level of 0.01(p=0.000)
