The Role of Marriage in Strengthening Social Health and Its Image in Ntional Media

Marriage with its functions plays an important role in providing people with social health. Islam with its particular approach to marriage, can lead to an improvement in the individual's assessment of his actions toward the community. Religious teachings promote dimensions of social health by emphasizing specially on family formation, observation of privacy in human relationships between man and woman, satisfaction of emotional needs within the family, emotional investment and the assimilation of children, childbirth, maternal care, holiness of marriage, support for family members, etc.. The national media with its great influence over people of the society should properly represent the effective components of marriage on social health in its programming. Hence, in this research we are going to first explain the effective components of marriage on strengthening social health and then discuss the ways of representing them in national media.
