The passage of time and the characteristics of contemporary cities have shown us that past planning approaches can not respond to today's city issues. The historical texture of cities suffers from some form of physical and functional burnout due to lack of attention and planning. Hence, the Future Studies approach has emerged in recent decades as a new model aimed at responding to unpredictable issues, possible and desirable future developments.. In this regard, the present study, with a futuristic approach, identifies the key drivers of the creative recreation of the historical context of Gorgan city and examines how these factors affect each other. In this research, 40 primary factors were extracted using Perl and Delphi scanning techniques. Then, using the Delphi method of administrators, the matrix of cross-component effects has been constructed. In the next step, using the structural analysis in MICMAC software, the matrix analysis was performed. Based on the results of software output and given the high direct and indirect impact, fourteen key factors in the future of creative recreation of the historical context of Gorgan city are influential. Out of the key drivers, financial resources, government macro policies and approved tourism projects have the highest impact on incentive policies, transportation network and entrepreneurship.
