Analysis of Suspension through Hermeneutical-Riddle Codes in the Progressive Narrative(Police-Criminal Narrative Case Study)
Narratives are generally divided into two categories, progressive (moving) and static (fixed). The progressive narratives of the suspense-based language texts include various narrative tools that create the expectation and elaboration of the narrative. One example is the progressive narrative of the crime-crime novel, whose harmony and unity among the shaping elements of the text is an appropriate measure of the audience's understanding and enjoyment. Accordingly, this essay attempts to study the narrative constructs of two types of narrative (progressive and static) while studying the underlying element of suspense in a police-crime novel. The authors also base their research on Roland Barth's theory of hermeneutics for being scientific, so that by tracing the hermeneutical-rational codes in a police novel by examining a case study of several effects, the process of formation, coherence and meaningfulness of the plan in This kind of narration was investigated and the results of the present study show that the suspense structure - exclusively - in a police novel consisting of coherence of semantic narrative elements (narrative codes) including "riddle recognition", "clutter dissipation", "delay response", " "False Tips" and "Truth Representation".
