Framework of Ethical Principles in Pathology of Management and Sustainable Development Planning of Iran's Tourism Destinations: A Case Study of Gilan Province
Undoubtedly, quantitative and mere development، regardless of social and environmental dimensions، will cause many harms and challenges for societies. One of the goals of tourism management and planning in geographical areas is to achieve sustainable development. But the experiences of major tourist destinations have shown that management and planning alone cannot bring sustainable development. One of the strategies that can mitigate the challenges and harms of tourism development is ethical frameworks. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the role of the framework of ethical principles in the pathology of management and sustainable development planning of Iran's tourist destinations in Gilan province. The main question of the article is what role can the framework of ethical principles play in the management and planning of sustainable development of tourism destinations in Iran and Gilan province? The method of this research is descriptive-analytical. Data collection tools and research data are the use of library resources. The results of the article show that paying attention to ethics in the management and planning of sustainable development of tourism destinations in Gilan prevents social anomie and it can motivate residents and tourists to motivate themselves to protect the environment.
