Investigating the methodological trend of AJUMS-affiliated papers indexed in international indices

Abstract:
Purpose

The main aim of this study is investigating the methodological trend of AJUMS-affiliated papers published in 2015 indexed in international indices.

Methods

This study is a cross-sectional analytical study. The Data were collected by census method using a check list. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics include frequency and percent of frequency with drawing table and chart and analytical statistics include X2 Test under SPSS 22 software.

Findings

281 papers were evaluated. Most of the reviewed papers were of a cross-sectional type, aimed at treatment and in the public health field. The rate of acceptance of cross-sectional descriptive papers in the field of public health was more than others. Also, possibility of being accepted for clinical trials to indices was less than other studies.

Conclusion

The results of this study showed that there are statistical relationships between the "study type" and "subject area" indicators in articles with the possibility of getting indexed in international indices.
