Considering The architectural patterns in order to develop rural tourism (Case study: Introducing an old house in Negarman village of Shahrood)
Rural tourism is considered an important factor in sustainable development. Negarman is a pleasant village in Shahroud County, Semnan, Iran. The stunning nature and stepped structure of the buildings combined with the geometry of the land, are some of the attractions of this village. The present paper introduces, for the first time, a traditional house with authentic Iranian architecture. Given that the spiritual principles governing the traditional Iranian architecture are deeply rooted in the culture and thought of this land, the traditional architectural elements of villages have many important potentials for attracting tourists. This study, which was conducted using desk research method, investigated theoretical foundations related to tourism and villages, and the documents, papers and maps of this traditional house were prepared and drawn using field method. The findings showed that Pirnya's five principles in the Iranian traditional homes are considered with a thoughtful look. Spatial proportions and the presence of architectural joints such as porches, terraces and courtyards are the most important features of this valuable house. Preservation and restoration of this traditional house, as well as the use of space research in the study to create an ecolodge are some of the suggestions made in this study.
