Nostalgia of the epic period in Bakhtiari's poetry

An important part of the views, feelings and emotion of the tribes in Iran, including Bakhtiari, has been transmitted through the oral culture to the present generation. Meanwhile, Bakhtiari’s epic poems and songs are echoed the nostalgia of the glory of Bakhtiari tribe, which has been completed with promise of the warriors.  The names of these fighters who are immortalized in poetry and folk tales are linked to oral history. Often the epic is the result of wars between tribes, conflicts with the central government and sometimes confrontation with foreigners.Among the machines and weapons of war, the name of the gun Berno is mostly often seen as the supreme valuable asset of the hero. Because most of the tribe heroes are dying in front of the enemy in war, the epic poems of this people like most epics have tragic aspect. In addition to expressing the regret of the past in bakhtiari’s epic poetry, it can be studied by reviewing various information from various aspects such as anthropology, psychology, and climatology, etc.
