A comparative study of psychology and Islam view to positivity in human
Positivity and positive thinking is concept that special attention has attracted in psychology and religion. Psychology at the beginning of its emergence more attention to negative points of human existence, such as the treatment of disease and trauma but recently positive psychology prospective which one of the new approaches is in psychology, Unlike traditional psychology, instead of emphasis on diseases and injuries focused on humans positive traits and abilities, such as happiness, hope, optimism, well-being and other aspects of human existence. in the other hand, is seen in Islam is always positivity and positive thinking is the many emphasis has been for mental and mind health. so the purpose of present paper is a comparative study of Islam and psychology view in relate to positivity component and dimensions in human. the method of present study is inductive- analytical research, thus with collecting data from Islamic and psychology texts, to explore the concept of positivity and attitude towards in human. In general, it can be concluded that not only there is no difference between main core of psychological and Islamic meaning of positivity but also in the two approaches there are similar fairly view to positivity and positive thinking and in the other hand In Islam and psychology too, although has been attention to negative aspects of human existence, but in general in two approaches there are positive fairly view to human and its existence dimensions.
