Abstract:
Purpose

The aim of this study was to compare the effect of forced exercise with treadmill, immobility stress and imultaneous application of stress + treadmill exercise on learning and spatial memory and serum corticosterone levels.

Methodology

Rats in four groups (10 rats in each group) were randomly exposed to treadmill exercise, immobilization stress, both together or without intervention for four weeks. Assessment of learning and spatial memory Performed using the Morris water maze device. After the last session, direct blood samples were taken from the left ventricle to measure cortisol.
