The statistical population included all high school students in District One of Tehran who were studying in 1397-1396, among whom the people who scored high in the Internet addiction test, 60 students were randomly divided into three groups of experiments and controls. (20 people in each group). The Internet Addiction Questionnaire (Young, 1999) and the Defense Styles (Andrews, Singh, & Bond, 1993) were used as pretest and posttest for both groups. Then, both experimental groups received 8 sessions of 90 minutes (one session per week) of integrated therapy and dialectical behavior therapy, but the control group was placed on a waiting list. The results of Mankova statistical analysis showed that both dialectical treatment and integrated treatment in defense mechanisms and reducing Internet and mobile addiction of the study participants were more effective than the control group, but there was no significant difference between the two treatments.
