Investigating the motivations for hunting predators for leaving hunting by hunters (Case study: Yazd province)
Hunting is a social phenomenon. One way to protect the environment, create an environmental culture in the community is remorseful predators. These people as part of the community can have a key role to protecting and restoring wildlife. The population of this research, hunters in Yazd province. The findings related to motivation to quit hunting was made through a questionnaire. Type of survey research. To analyze the data, descriptive and inferential statistics were used. To determine the factors influencing the behavior of one-sample Wilcoxon test was used remorseful predators. SPSS 23 was used for data analysis software. The results showed that no significant relationship exists between hunters and hunted by different motives. Motivated individual and family, spiritual motivations, government, social factors and alternatives to hunting the view of respondents had a positive role in leaving their prey. With increasing environmental science hunters to protect wildlife, species, habitats and wild reduced. The law does not quit hunting.
