Abstract:

The exegetical book"Taysir al Karim al Rahman", is wrote by Abdulrahman Alsadi, one of the contemporary Wahhabi scholars. This research is done by descriptive-analytical method to discover the interpretive methodology of a Wahhabi and Salafi scholar. This Wahhabi scholar insists on lexical meaning and not delving into the deep meaning and insist on superficial meaning. He proves some human attributes for God in some Quranic verses, which is against reason and Salafi basics in interpretation. Also, in "guardianship" verses, ignoring the authoritative narrations acted against his doctrine in interpretations of narrations. Abdulrahman Alsadi interpreted the jurisprudential verses according to his own denomination. Claiming that his goal in interpretation is summarization, he ignored the translation of verses, neglecting different views and did not mentioned the narrations and references. He just mentioned in some cases the reason of descending of verses. However, in case of ethical verses, he explained in detail the qur'anic stories and extracted many points from them.
